Founded by science teacher Louise Gallagher in 2024, STEMtacular is an exciting and dynamic platform that brings the world of STEM to life for primary school students in the west
At the heart of STEMtacular is our annual Primary School STEM Fair, where students have the opportunity to showcase their innovative projects, share their discoveries, and celebrate their creativity. Schools from across the region come together to present their work, but the event is more than just a showcase—it’s a chance for students to engage with STEM exhibitors, learning firsthand about the exciting possibilities within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
In addition to the STEM fair, STEMtacular offers hands-on workshops designed to inspire and educate. These workshops provide students with the chance to dive deeper into STEM concepts, experiment with new ideas, and gain practical skills that will serve them in the future.
As a science teacher, I’m passionate about sparking curiosity and igniting a love for STEM in young minds.
